Together with property owners we developed the 5-star hunter rating system
To put your mind at ease, we’ve created the unique Inland Hunting Properties 5-star Hunter Rating System.
We use this special rating method to make sure that we recommend only reputable, highly rated hunters to you.
All hunters are assessed and rated by our team, by you and by other landowners. If a hunter does not meet our strict criteria, including a 4 or 5-star rating, we don’t permit them a booking. It’s that simple.

Hunters are people from all walks of life, including doctors, lawyers, policemen, business owners and tradespeople. They are everyday people who love escaping from the city with their families or friends and pursuing their passion for the great outdoors through this unique form of tourism.

- Feel secure knowing these hunters have hunted with IHP many times over the past 25 years and have no negative history with us at all.
- Elite hunters already know what is expected of them while on your property.
- Elite hunters are familiar with the pricing and understand how the arrangement works.
- Elite hunters often come back to IHP with feedback regarding their trip. They pass on information such as property maps and clear directions to your property for future hunters.
- Elite hunters can advise property owners about procedures if they are unsure when starting out.
- If property owners are going away, they can notify IHP, who can try and place Elite hunters on their property. Often, in return for a hunt, these Elite hunters will feed animals and look after the property.

IHP has been partnering and working with Australian property owners for over 25 years, connecting reputable, highly rated hunters with their properties. We work with you to allow limited hunter access, which helps maintain balance on your property through sustainable and ethical hunting. Our property owners benefit from the additional revenue stream, especially in times of drought and low crop and stock prices.
Our service is free of charge to you - we do all the legwork
All hunters are assessed and rated by our team, by you and by other landowners. If a hunter does not meet our strict criteria, we don’t permit them a booking.
We connect you to paying outdoor enthusiasts
Hunters are people from all walks of life, including doctors, lawyers, policemen, business owners and tradespeople. They are everyday people who love escaping from the city with their families or friends and pursuing their passion for the great outdoors through this unique form of tourism.
Property owners typically earn from $15,000 per year with minimal effort. IHP takes care of the entire booking and management process – the service is free to you, the property owner. Hunters pay us a $140 booking fee and settle the balance with you at the gate.

Benefits of listing your property with IHP

- Hunters can help deter poachers. Once poachers see a property has hunters, they are often more wary of entry. (We have instances where hunters have reported poachers, who have then been apprehended by the authorities!)

- Hunters often bring knowledge and expertise of particular trades. They can often help with a problem on the property in return for a day's hunt.
- Hunters can also bring supplies with them if requested ahead of time.

Good morning,
What a great group of people you sent as my first guests. They were such a lovely family. Unfortunately the weather was not on their side – it was pretty shitty really. We had snow / wind / rain – the lot. But that didn’t seem to worry them too much. Their hunt was unsuccessful, but I think the weather sent everything into hiding!! The hunter gave me some constructive feedback about camp spots, use of quads etc. They were fantastic guests. He promises they’ll be back....probably in warmer times of the year though.
Just so you know, they get 5 stars for everything!! Even though the hunt for sambar was unsuccessful, which disheartens me, I can’t wait for the next group of hunters.
Please pass on any other feedback the hunters have for you to me. I want to ensure everybody has a fantastic time, whatever the outcome.
