Cunnamulla #9 is a 46,500 acre creek frontage property with open areas leading up into undulating hills with Mulga scrub. Pigs, foxes, rabbits, wild cats and dogs and yabbies can be found and shooting, bow hunting and fishing are welcome.
No extra fees on trophies.
You do not need a 4WD to get to the property, or to get around the property.
Accommodation consists of shearers quarters with 3 bedrooms on each side, two more rooms at the end of the facility and a gauzed in veranda on each side.
Your own bedding will need to be brought with you.
Telstra mobile phone service can be achieved on certain high spots.
No need to bring firewood – the property has available firewood lying around the property for you to collect.
You can sight your firearms and target shoot at your campsite, of course observing all safety precautions.
The property owners are happy to chat to all guests and the property uses channel UHF 32.
Summer temperatures can get over 40 degrees, while winter up to 30 degrees and a low of 2 degrees. Average annual rainfall of 317 mm (12.5”).
The best time to book is all year, with the hottest times obviously in summer.
Rules on the property are simple – follow and read the conditions for property access book. Common Sense – leave gates as found, no shooting at or within 500m of stock, or on ridgelines, respecting property boundaries, avoid driving on crops. Be mindful of driving close to stock. Do not shoot anywhere near main house or owners animals. Hunt respectfully. Take all rubbish with you to the designated area, obey any fire restrictions especially total fire bans.
The property is located near Cunnamulla and is open Cuttaburra flood plains to Mulga ridges. It consists of creek country on the east side of the property with permanent water holes. To the west it runs up into hilly Mulga country with some open areas of never fail grass. There are a number of dams throughout the property and there is about 6,000 acres of open country along the creek.
Very well-watered by 2 Artesian bores and 5 sub Artesian bores, 10 dams and Cuttaburra Creek with reliable water holes. 2 Artesian and 5 sub Artesian bores - Cuttaburra Creek open flood plains. It is subdivided into 9 paddocks of plain and barb wire.
This property is 100kms from Cunnamulla and 40kms to Barrington. There are different events on at each of these towns at different times of the year including the Cunnamulla Fella Festival and horse racing events.
Additional Supplies can be obtained from Cunnamulla where most supplies can be found between 9am-5pm.
It is recommended visitors come well equipped and bring insect repellent in summer.

For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
We also recommend current ambulance cover.
