Bollon #3 is a property that comprises 21,000 acres of level, open grasslands and scrub with semi-dry creeks and dams. The Bollon river traverses about 20 kilometres away from the property.
Goats, sheep, and cattle graze in an abundant pasture grassland. The terrain is mostly flat. Pigs, foxes, cats, hares, ducks, and rabbits can be found and hunted here. There are yabbies to be fished as well.
Motorbikes, quads, Polaris, buggies, and spotlighting are allowed but no dogs or other pets are permitted.
This property is a 25-minute drive from town. The road is mostly gravel and some parts are rock. Visitors don’t need four-wheel drive vehicles to reach the property or move around it.
Daily arrival and departure times are flexible and depend entirely on visitors’ requirements.
Visitors can choose from two types of accommodation. There are four air-conditioned dongas, one donga without air-conditioning, and four shearer huts without aircon. Camping sites are also available.
Firewood is available for collection around the property, free of charge.
Visitors can sight their firearms and target shoot around the property, provided they observe all safety precautions.
The terrain is flat but overlooks a large lagoon. It is level, open grassland and scrub with semi-dry creeks and dams.
The average temperature ranges from zero degrees Celsius during winter to a hot 40 degrees Celsius in summer.
Most rain in Bollon falls in January. Typically, the rain falls for 8.5 days and averages up to 35 millimetres of precipitation. January is also the warmest month and has an average high temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius.
Camping sites, dongas, and shearer huts are available for accommodation. Each accommodation has showers, toilets, a kitchen with a fridge, an electric stove, (with pots and pans), space for a campfire, bins, clean bore water, and rainwater. There are four aircon dongas and one without aircon. The shearer quarters don’t have aircon.
All of the donga accommodation is in good condition. The shearer quarters are in old and rustic condition.
Visitors must bring all their required necessities for camping and hunting. However, the property owners can provide a bedding package with a pillow, bed sheets, towels, and blankets for an additional $40 per person.
Telstra is available for visitors' mobile phone access and connectivity is obtainable in most parts of the property.

The accommodation site overlooks a large lagoon. All dongas and shearer huts are fully equipped, clean, and neat. All camping sites are perfect for spending peaceful nights camping and stargazing.
Hunters can hunt pigs, foxes, cats, rabbits, ducks, and hares. Visitors who love fishing can also catch yabbies.
Visitors can enjoy fun and exciting times roaming around on the flat terrain on their motorbikes, quads, Polaris, and buggies.
The scenic landscape is a haven for nature photographers and hikers and young visitors can pet the kids and goats during the season too
The property was purchased by the property owners in 2012. They developed the land for pasturing goats, sheep, and cattle and have decided to open it up for visitors to share in the blissful surroundings for hunting, camping, and vacationing.
The owners understand the positive impact this will have on the environment and its wildlife and are open for a chat if visitors would like to connect.
Bollon and the surrounding area have an interesting and deep history. Visitors are recommended to visit the Nullawokka First Nations Gallery to see the comprehensive information on display.
There are a number of beautiful places to visit in Bollon. Aside from Nullawokka First Nations Gallery, visitors can also visit the Bollon Heritage Centre, Narkoola National Park, Wallam Creekside Walk, and Thrushton National Park.
Visitors can drive 40 kilometres to the closest town to buy missing and additional supplies. However, the nearby Bollon Cafe has basic supplies and is open from 7am to 6pm. The Bollon hardware shop opens from 8am to 5pm. Sumptuous meals are served in Bollon Pub, which is open from 7am to 5pm.

For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
We also recommend current ambulance cover.
You enter these properties fully aware of the risks involved and do so at your own risk.

Helmet and protective gear to be worn whenever operating these vehicles.
We recommend the Yassi Course or some form of accredited training be taken prior to using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy’s on the property.
Bikes, buggy’s and Quads/ATV are to be taken onto properties entirely at your own risk.
No responsibility will be taken. Assess your own insurance for these recreational vehicles.
You release and indemnify IHP and all related parties against any claim of any kind whatsoever.
