Run on Solar with a Generator Back up. Bar Fridge & Freezer, BBQ, shower, Toilet, pots & utensils for 4 people, 1 queen bed (linen not included), plenty of room for swags or campervan/tent. Its lights and fridge are run off solar power with a generator back-up.
t is as unique as its surrounding, based on the foothills of Arcadia Valleys most predominant mountain, Castle Hill. The view is breathtaking, and the experience is one to remember. The Outpost is equipped with a small bar fridge, kitchen essentials including enough plates/cups/glasses, cutlery for 4 guests, saucepan, stock pot, a BBQ, an outside fire-pit, an inside fireplace, a Gas Cooktop for the Kettle and it even comes with a hot shower & flushing toilet!
Plenty of wood available around the property. Bring a chainsaw. The Outpost is perfect whether you are a couple, family or a larger group. For our larger groups or family bookings we encourage you to bring tents/swags/campers/vans – there is plenty of room.
The most important rule above all else is to have a clean vehicle on arrival for maintaining biosecurity. This is very important and dirty vehicles which pose a biosecurity risk will be turned away.
Secondly paddocks with stock in them are to avoided, these will be pointed out. Gates must be left as found and accommodation left in a neat and clean state and a general respect for the property,
There is a firearms range at your accommodation with target gongs.
It is heavily grassed, with many paddocks of leucaena that the pigs like to hide in. There is a river down the front and a creek up the back.
Heaps of dams and even a couple of bird hides where you can have a beer and watch the sun set over the Valley. and the best part - you almost never have to open a gate as there's grids everywhere.
Arrival midday onwards and before 5pm. Depart by 10am to allow the facilities to be cleaned for next guests

For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
You enter these properties fully aware of the risks involved and do so at your own risk. IHP, property owners and all related and unrelated parties are not held liable for any claim, accident or injury.
In other words, take responsibility for your own actions, watch what you are doing and ACT LIKE AN ADULT WITH COMMON SENSE.
Risk assessments must be taken for potential hazards whilst using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy's on the property.
Some properties only allow certain types of vehicles. Please check listing carefully. Helmet and protective gear to be worn whenever operating these vehicles.
We recommend the Yassi Course or some form of accredited training be taken prior to using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy’s on the property.
Bikes, buggy’s and Quads/ATV are to be taken onto properties entirely at your own risk.
No responsibility will be taken. Assess your own insurance for these recreational vehicles.
You release and indemnify IHP and all related parties against any claim of any kind whatsoever.
If in doubt or you do not agree to or understand these terms, do not bring and or ride bikes, buggy's or quad/ATV.
